Do you remember the stories that you had read — or recounted — to you when you were little? Whether that person was a parent, a guardian, a grand-parent, a relative, a teacher, a loved-one, *anyone* — what do you remember about those stories? What is it that you remember about the feeling(s) you had — the connection you felt — to both the storyteller *and* the story??
Do you remember the first stage-play you ever saw? Can you recall what the story was about, or do you remember it as though it were a dream — snippets, pieces, images, sounds? Is it a happy or a sad memory? Is it bringing a smile to your face?
Now imagine being seated in a circle in a small, intimate, space while *inside* this circle — lit-up and powered by voice and movement — an ensemble of actors is drawing you in to the world of a story that is as fantastical and true for you now, as an adult, as the stories and plays you encountered as a child.
